Bar Talks
The Queer Web Talk-Show
Bar Talks is a queer web talk show that explores social-political issues in queer lives, using a bar as the backdrop for unfolding discussions. The first season comprises four episodes to be regularly streamed online. The show will be moderated by Omar Nicolas and produced by Noam Gorbat, who are accompanied by a crew of BIPOC queers from the community who support the entire production.
The talk show will be streamed from Möbel Olfe, a renowned bar and queer space located in Berlin. “Bar Talks” acts as a field study where conversations between invited experts take the form of questions, examining topics on a personal, critical, and entertaining level. This queer gathering also aims to connect experts and different views on queer urban life.

The Valley of The Cross
In 2019 Noam co-directed with Keren Ida Natan, produced and edited the feature film THE VALLEY OF THE CROSS, a queer love story between three young women living in Palestine at the beginning of the 20th century. Set in an era of major geopolitical shifts, the film follows the dreams, desires and struggles of women from different backgrounds in their common search for a better future. The Valley of the Cross is a periodical tale, a fantasy based on historical figures and movements. By rewriting and queering stories of marginalized identities, the film brings to life forgotten histories of Palestine. This project introduces a new reality through working collectively with professionals and non-professionals from different Middle Eastern nationalities.
